Draw North West

Our good friend, Salfordian and illustrator Chris Madden, recently took charge of organising the Draw North West monthly meetups for illustrators in Manchester. To match Chris’ efforts in reviving the event, we designed a new logo.

We went along to the first meeting of the re-launched Draw at Cord Bar to show our faces and had a great evening meeting people over a few beers. The basement area was filled with students, graduates, freelancers, dabblers and plenty who were just interested; and the sizeable turnout would suggest that illustration events are a sorely needed addition to the creative scene in the region. Some had travelled quite a distance just to see what the first meeting would be like and it was good to see everyone being welcomed into the group as the night went on.
