Last Saturday (January 28th) we launched a new practical guide on foraging in your local area. Including descriptions, images, and recipes for a selection of edible wild foods.

It’s a guide that aims to change the way you think about your local area and how you can interact with it. It tries to help you see that where you live has massive potential as a publicly owned orchard with a huge variety of produce.

The launch was in North Tea Power, where we handed out the guide to anyone who wanted to take one, but unfortunately that’s over now. We also had between five and ten in each of the places listed on the map below, but they’ve all been taken now. If we have a reprint later on we’ll make sure to let everyone know where you can get a copy from.

The guide is cloth bound, with letterpressed covers, a screen printed insert by Savwo and is an edition of only 200.

Best of all, it’s free. All thanks to the excellent Ideas Tap and their generous Wellbeing Fund.

We’ll also be distributing the guide to lots of local places, so if you can’t make it on Saturday don’t worry, you can grab one from these places:
